Management
AHDI activities are designed and supervised by an Advisory Board made up of Medical Consultants, Healthcare Specialists and well-meaning individuals with good standing in society.
Members of the Advisory Board
Dr Preye Fiebai is the Chairman of the Advisory Board. He is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, University of Port Harcourt and a Consultant to the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital in the same department. His primary area of interest is Reproductive Endocrinology, Infertility and Assisted Reproduction.
He is the current Chairman of the Medical & Dental Consultants Association Nigeria (MDCAN), UPTH Branch.
Dr Datonye D. Alasia is the Vice Chairman of the Advisory Board. He is a lecturer in the Department of Internal Medicine, University of Port Harcourt and a Consultant to the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital in the areas of Nephrology and Pulmonology.
He is the Executive Director of Aubretia Healthcare Solutions Nigeria Limited and a research enthusiast.
Dr Chinedu Okongwu is a Gynaecologist and Reproductive Health Physician.
He is the Director of Care Women’s Clinic, Port Harcourt.
Dr Kingsley Douglas is a Senior Lecturer in the University of Port Harcourt and a Consultant Occupational & Public Health Physician at the University of Port Harcourt teaching Hospital.
Dr Athanasius Boma is Lecturer in the Department of Anatomical Pathology at the University of Port Harcourt and a Consultant Anatomical Pathologist to the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital.
There is also a strong management team which caters for the day to day needs of the organization.
The Management Team is led by Mrs Ife Ajetunmobi, the Operations Manager and Secretary to the Advisory Board.
Founding Trustees
Dr Boma S.R Oruamabo is the Founding President/ Coordinator of Medical Research & Activities, a member of the Society for Quality Healthcare Nigeria (SQHN) and the International Society for Quality Healthcare (ISQua).
A thorough and purposeful leader, he was a surgical resident at the University of Port Harcourt for four years before delving into the world of medical entrepreneurship.
He was the Chief Executive officer of a Health Maintenance Organisation (HMO) and is actively involved in private practice and managing The Sapphire Group.
He has attended numerous courses in the area of managed care, health administration and management.
Mr Lawrence O. Oranusi is the Founding Vice-President/ Solution Developer.
He is an entrepreneur, innovator, technologist and a farmer. A graduate of Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Lawrence ventured directly into entrepreneurship as a fresh graduate, first as Materials & Logistics Supplier in the Construction industry, he then expanded into the Oil & Gas industry, providing services for a number of high profile companies in the industry.
He subsequently joined an Oil & Gas company as General Manager and rose to the position of Deputy Managing Director of the Group before leaving to set up the first “innovation technology” company in Nigeria.
He currently serves, in different capacities, on the board of several companies.
Mr Nnanochie Chukwuma is the Founding Secretary/ Logistics Coordinator.
He is a graduate of Human anatomy from The University of Port Harcourt and a certified Safety Expert. He is also a director with a reputable survey, landscaping and aesthetic company.
He is an avid reader, committed to learning and has an insatiable appetite for exploring new ideas and horizons.
